What do I do if the lawn is overgrown?

Last updated on
April 9, 2019

If the customer’s yard has not been mowed recently and is over six (6) inches in height, set your mower on the highest setting and mow over it. Then, send the “Overgrown Yard Message” to the customer explaining why you cut their yard so high.

“Hello! Your yard fell into our “overgrown yard” category so I mowed it on my mower’s highest setting. I didn’t cut it any further because mowing more than 30% of the blade height can be harmful for your yard, which I already had to go past to make it look decent. I also waived the $20 overgrown yard fee this time. We’ll be able to cut it a bit shorter next time you have us out. Have a great day!”
